Yes — complete privacy is one of the things guests love most about Casalone. The house sits at the end of a private lane within 4.5 hectares (11 acres) of land, so you’ll have exclusive use of the house, pool, and grounds throughout your stay.
It is wonderfully secluded, which can make it somewhat difficult to find on your first visit alone, so on the day of arrival you’ll be welcomed nearby and guided the rest of the journey to ensure a smooth and stress-free check-in. You'll be amazed by the tranquility, despite being close to lovely places to eat, drink, shop and explore.
Casalone is family-owned and operated, and we care deeply about both the property and our guests. Ester will personally meet you nearby on arrival (as the house can be hard to locate) and guide you to the villa. She’ll show you around, answer any questions, and ensure you’re comfortably settled in.
After that, you’ll be left in complete privacy, but help is always available if you need assistance. The house contains a comprehensive information pack with local recommendations and emergency contacts.
Casalone is ideal for families and groups of friends seeking privacy, space, and an authentic Tuscan setting. The first-floor layout is somewhat unusual due to the historic structure, so we recommend reviewing the floor plan in our Gallery (https://www.casaloneinchianti.it/gallery)to ensure it meets your group’s needs.
Casalone is perfectly located for exploring the beauty of Tuscany and all of its cultural sights. Guests can visit historic cities and medieval hilltop villages, enjoy wine tastings at local vineyards (including two within walking distance), dine at excellent nearby restaurants, or take part in experiences such as cookery classes, Vespa tours, truffle hunting (seasonal), horse riding, bicycle tours, bus tours of wineries, or even hot-air ballooning.
