First floor 

1 Double room with a king size bed and 2 twin rooms.

All bedrooms are spacious and have plenty of storage, as well as comfortable mattresses and good quality linens and duvet covers.

There is another room with a sofa bed big enough for two.

Towels are supplied and there's a hairdryer. There are separate towels for the pool.

The layout is unusual, so please view the floor plan or contact us to make sure it's suitable.

Ground floor

Utility room with shower and laundry facilities.

Large, well-equipped kitchen that flows into the dining room, which in turn flows into the living room (open plan). All have doors onto the terrace or garden. The living room has a fire and seats six. There are games for adults and children, books, maps, a TV and a DVD player.

There is a separate WC.

Excellent free WiFi throughout the house.

Set in 4.5 hectares at the end of a private road, the outside space and views are exceptional and consist of:

Substantial terrace – for outside dining with panoramic views from sunrise to sunset. Table and chairs for up to eight and a large umbrella for shade. 

​

Courtyard – dine in this shady area on the hottest days.

​

Garden – relax in the beautiful gardens (you may spot deer and wild boar) or go foraging for our fresh produce when in season: olives, grapes, pears, apples, cherries, walnuts, almonds, figs, blackberries, peaches. 

​

Annexe – challenge your family or friends to a game of table tennis in here.

​

Pizza oven – enjoy authentic Italian pizzas from a traditional  oven

There's also exterior lighting and an electric fence.

​

The pool is heated by the sun and open from May to October. It's large enough for exercising in, practising your dives, or simply bobbing around on a lilo.

​

With panoramic, south-facing views and comfy loungers, you may find it hard to tear yourself away from this perfect spot.

​

There's an outdoor shower and also umbrellas for shade when needed.

​

The pool room provides a changing area, a sink, picnic glasses and a fridge to keep chilled drinks close to hand.

Cocktail hour by the pool anyone?

Casalone is pet friendly. There are no restrictions but we ask of course for you to clean up after them and respect the property as if it were your own. Please let us know at the time of booking if you're planning to bring your pet(s) with you.

Guests of all ages have enjoyed staying here but if you have particular accessibility requirements please bear in mind that this is an old, rural property, so you may want to check with us first whether it will be suitable.

​

The house is extremely well equipped for all of your self-catering needs. There's a supermarket in Greve, a few kilometres away, as well as specialist food shops (including the famous Antica Macelleria Falorni), a weekly market, weekly fishmonger, restaurants and a delicious pizza take-away. The kitchen contains non-perishable store cupboard items and the fridge can be stocked with fresh food for your arrival if you wish.
